I could not find any dates anywhere in on box but i'm guessing this was first sold early to mid 50s when home movies became so popular.
The corners of top box do have damage. Mittler PLT-4 titler in original box.
The label indicates 150 letters but I didn't count. The photos speak for themselves.
The prior owners household conditions are unknown to me. My home is smoke free and I do have a dog.
