The Lietz Leica Syoom Rapid Winder IIIF/IIIg is a high-quality accessory designed specifically for Leica cameras, including the Leica Vit II. This winder is an essential tool for photographers who use Leica rangefinders and want to increase their shooting speed without sacrificing the smoothness and precision that Leica is known for.
The Lietz Leica Syoom Rapid Winder IIIF/IIIg is a mechanical winder, which means it relies on the natural movement of the film to advance each frame. However, it does so at a much faster rate than a traditional Leica wind-lever. The winder can advance the film up to 1.5 frames per second, which may not seem like much, but for Leica users, every fraction of a second counts.
The winder is made from high-quality materials and features a sleek, minimalist design that blends seamlessly with the Leica camera body. It is made of brass and has a chrome-plated finish, which not only looks great but also adds durability and resistance to corrosion. The winder is also lightweight, making it easy to carry around without adding unnecessary weight to your camera setup.
The Lietz Leica Syoom Rapid Winder IIIF/IIIg is compatible with Leica M-series cameras, including the Leica M3, M2, M2-P, M4, M5, M6, and M7, as well as the Leica CL and Leica R3. It is also compatible with the Leica Vit II and other Leica rangefinders that use the same type of film advance mechanism.
To use the winder, simply attach it to the bottom of your Leica camera, load your film, and start winding. The winder is easy to use and requires minimal effort, making it a great option for photographers who want to improve their shooting speed without spending a lot of time and energy on film advance.
In summary, the Lietz Leica Syoom Rapid Winder IIIF/IIIg is a high-quality accessory that can help Leica photographers increase their shooting speed while maintaining the smoothness and precision that Leica is known for. It is made of high-quality materials, has a sleek design, and is compatible with a wide range of Leica cameras and rangefinders. Whether you're a professional photographer or a hobbyist, this winder is a great addition to your Leica camera setup.

This is a Leicavit syoom rapid winder for Leica screw mount cameras with serial numbers over 400,000. There are also a few bright marks on the chrome that do not show up in my photos. Not mint, but too far from it.
It works well and fastened to my iiic nicely. There is one tiny nick to the chrome on top edge of near clasp end. All these marks are minor, so the Leicavit looks very nice overall. My Leicavit comes with its box.
The outer part of box is in decent shape, but ends on inner are worn and repaired with tape. You can see it in my photo. The winder itself has been used and shows some wear on inside from that use. That would include iiif, iiig, and late iiic cameras.
