Details:

These light meters will assist you to calculate the best lighting required picture or video scene correctly. When I purchased, didn't get any information or history on it, except 'light meter. Pictures taken of all sides angles the old wood, dovetail box and inside.

I did find some information on the foot-candles, etc. Different shipping options available. But, its just a neat, old piece that has so much character and history about it.

A foot-candle meter is type of light which measures the intensity in your picture. I think this is from the 1940s and was used as a light meter for photography. Please look at the 12 photos uploaded. Please look at the information copied and pasted below.

I do think its working, because tried different light settings, and the needle or hand moved on meter. On top of the wood box, theres a small place corner, where surface piece is missing and part that has lifted needs to be glued back down inches tall. The foot candle is a measure of brightness which non Si unit.

I can't find one to compare. Inside are the foot-candles, settings, meter, a knob that can be turned for adjustments on top. Once that is glued, the other small place could be touched up if someone wanted.

Maybe inside under the meter piece. The scale shows it weighing 7 pounds and 1 ounce. With the metal latch on front side, hinges at back, Photovolt plate top, outer dimensions of wood box measures approximately 11 inches across and to back. And, I love the beautiful wood, dovetail corners, box with handle.

And, again, that's measuring the outer dimensions of wood box with metal latch on front side and Photovolt plate top. But want to mention. And, a model number which is 200C.

And, when I picked it up to place on the scale, heard something loose. I love the dovetail, old, wood box its in.
